Skyview 22 Soul Food & More is the brain child of Chef Sharnette and his business partner Terrence. They started the restaurant shortly after the loss of Sharnette’s son, Qua’Shawn, in 1992. Cooking became a coping mechanism for Sharnette. Initially they only cooked for friends and family but their popularity grew rapidly as people discovered the delicious, mouthwatering soul food. This lead to to the team setting up a tent to sell dinners at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market. A few years later they purchased a food truck which allowed them to travel around the Charlotte Metro exposing more people to this delicious home cooked cuisine!
Achieving tremendous success they were able to open their first brick and mortar restaurant. It is located in the Super Wal-mart at 9820 Callabridge Circle in Charlotte.
The Menu
Known for its Southern-inspired cuisine, Skyview 22 has become a very popular spot for lunch and dinner in the Charlotte area. Skyview offers a variety of dishes that showcase the traditional soul food flavors of the South with a modern twist. The restaurant has become famous for such classic comfort dishes as fried chicken, shrimp and grits as well as other regional specialities.

The atmosphere is casual yet stylish, making it a great spot for both family meals and gatherings with friends. It is a great choice for events and special occasions. Skyview 22 is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM. You can eat in the restaurant, order take-out online or in person.
