If you’re looking for a fresh, flavorful, and convenient place to eat in the Charlotte and Lake Norman area, Chopt Huntersville deserves a spot on your list. Located on Lindholm Drive, Chopt Creative Salad Co. brings together fresh ingredients, creative recipes, house-made dressings, salads, wraps, and warm bowls in a fast-casual setting. As someone who loves discovering great local spots around Charlotte & Surround, I’m always excited to find a restaurant that makes healthy eating feel anything but boring!
Chopt Huntersville: A Fresh Addition to the Community
Chopt Huntersville is located at 8908 Lindholm Drive in Huntersville, NC, making it a convenient stop for residents, professionals, families, and anyone spending time in the Lake Norman area. The Huntersville location opened in 2025 as Chopt continued expanding its presence throughout North Carolina.
And if the name Chopt sounds familiar, there’s a good reason. The company was founded in New York City in 2001 by best friends Tony Shure and Colin McCabe. Their original goal was simple but ambitious: make healthy eating exciting for everyone. More than two decades later, that philosophy continues to shape the menu and the customer experience.
What I like about that concept is that Chopt doesn’t treat a salad like an afterthought. These are meals packed with different textures, flavors, proteins, vegetables, grains, cheeses, toppings, and dressings. In other words, you can eat something fresh without feeling like you sacrificed flavor to do it!
What's on the Chopt Huntersville Menu?
One of the best things about Chopt is the variety. Whether you want something light, hearty, warm, crunchy, spicy, or completely customized, there are plenty of options. The menu includes salads, wraps, warm bowls, customizable meals, Chopt Jr. meals, drinks, snacks, and bottled dressings. Chopt also offers seasonal selections, which means there can always be something new to try.
Popular Chopt Menu Favorites
If you’re visiting Chopt Huntersville for the first time, here are a few options that caught my attention:
Classic Cobb Salad: This is a great choice if you like a traditional, filling salad. It features grilled chicken, avocado, smoked bacon, hard-boiled egg, blue cheese, grape tomatoes, and romaine with buttermilk ranch. It is also listed as a best seller at the Huntersville location.
Chicken Tinga Bowl: If you’re more of a warm-bowl person, this one is worth checking out. It combines braised chicken tinga, avocado, black beans, tortilla chips, scallions, cotija cheese, kale, and your choice of base. Chopt identifies the Chicken Tinga Bowl as a bestseller.
Craft Your Own Salad: This might be my favorite concept because sometimes you know exactly what you want. You can select your greens, choose four toppings, and finish it with your favorite dressing. You can also turn your creation into a wrap or bowl.
Summer Corn Caesar Salad: For a seasonal option, the Summer Corn Caesar combines grilled chicken, raw corn salad, aged Parmesan, artisan croutons, jalapeño peppers, and romaine with basil Caesar dressing. It’s a fun twist on a familiar favorite.
Sweet Peach Burrata Bowl: Now this is the kind of seasonal combination that gets my attention! Fresh peaches, creamy burrata, roasted pistachios, grape tomatoes, pickled red onion, farro, and arugula come together with a basil vinaigrette and hot honey drizzle.
Something for Everyone
One thing that makes Chopt Huntersville appealing is that you don’t have to be a hardcore salad lover to find something you enjoy.
Prefer wraps? Chopt has you covered with choices including the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Mexicali Chicken Caesar Wrap, Salmon Avocado Wrap, Chicken Club Wrap, Hummus Crunch Wrap, and Southwest Steak Wrap.
Looking for something with more protein? The menu features selections such as Southwest Steak Salad, Salmon Avocado Bowl, Shrimp Spring Roll Salad, and Classic Cobb Salad.
And for families, Chopt offers Chopt Jr. salads and bowls that can be customized with greens or grains, protein, and toppings.
That variety makes Chopt a great option when everyone in your group wants something different.
Customer Service Matters
This is another reason Chopt caught my attention.
The company has a community-giving initiative called Chopt Gives, which supports communities, team members, and charitable partners. Chopt’s history includes partnerships focused on healthy eating and children’s wellness, including its longstanding relationship with Wellness in the Schools.
Chopt has also supported North Carolina organizations through community initiatives. Past North Carolina efforts have included support for organizations such as Bitty & Beau’s, Friendship Trays, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina.
I love seeing businesses recognize that being part of a community means more than simply opening the doors and serving customers. Supporting local organizations and programs can help create healthier and stronger communities.
