The Honeycomb Cafe
The Honeycomb café first opened its doors in early 2022 under the leadership of Chef Patrick Murphy. This spot is more than just a breakfast-and-brunch restaurant, it is a gathering place for Belmont’s community with a locally sourced menu and a welcoming aesthetic. The Honeycomb café brings a fresh, modern twist to Southern comfort food by emphasizing farm-fresh ingredients from North Carolina growers and artisans.

The Customer Experience
When you visit The Honeycomp café you will often find the staff greeting guests by name, remembering favorite orders, or pausing to chat. These little gesture deepen the sense of belonging. Reviews frequently mention speedy, attentive service, and the willingness of servers to accommodate requests such as adjusting seating or the temperature. Because the café is modest in size, it often fills up on weekend mornings; reservations are encouraged. The staff also balance serving food with managing the bar side — pouring craft cocktails, mixing drinks, explaining specials — which adds another layer to the service experience and demands versatility.
