STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the RailYard in South End, STIR is open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
We believe great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, using the finest produce, meats, and seasonal ingredients. Our signature raw bar is stocked with the freshest oysters and seasonal seafood available. We approach each meal with the same creative energy that we bring to our specialty cocktails and community atmosphere. STIR is famous for cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice, blend our own bitters and syrups, press juices, and slice ingredients, all in-house. We age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place other cocktails on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result is categorically elevated cocktails.
Our passion for fine spirits compels us to seek out rare and interesting liquors. Many of these bottles are extremely difficult to procure, such as 23 year-old Pappy Van Winkle or 18 year-old Whistlepig Rye. STIR regularly features rare spirits, and we cannot wait to share them with you.
